The American Women Quarters Program is a four-year series that celebrates women's achievements and contributions to the development and history of the United States.

Starting in 2022 and continuing through 2025, the Mint will issue five new coins each year featuring prominent American women who have made significant contributions in various fields, including civil rights, government, science, space, and the arts.
The women being honored come from diverse ethnic, racial, and geographic backgrounds.

These coins are minted by three mints: Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco.
